Together with experienced design, engineer, and technical professionals, Fabricon
has developed a machine that is an art form of its own. We call our machine
"The Muscle." No other mechanism available can match our
drive--either in its smooth, quiet, safe ride or in its near lubrication- and
grease-free owner-friendly operation. The sophistication of the Fabricon
drive and structure is a perfect complement to the beauty of the Fabricon
carousel.

- Heavy HD steel tubing,
aircraft-standard connections.
- Top bearing: Our
thrust and compression bearing assembly is pre-lubricated and sealed at
Fabricon, requiring no future adjusting.
- Our center bearing
assembly consists of stacked, self-lubricating UHMW discs which are
sealed on site during installation, a unique development of Fabricon
engineering.
- Our crank bearings are
engineered specifically for Fabricon, machined from the same UHMW,
self-lubricating.
- Variable speed control
and built-in dynamic braking. The RPMs, ramp-up, and deceleration time
are set upon installation.
- Ride duration timer.
- Separate controls for
start, emergency stop and lock-key.
- Start-up bell delay.

Often the most demanding feature of carousel maintenance is the repeated
lubrication of gears, bearings, and moving parts, but Fabricon's mostly
grease-free and oil-free parts hare eliminated oil and grease from
maintenance procedures by floating the sealed top and center bearings. Our
crank gear system is an interface of a cast bevel gear and pinion gears. This
is the only area of the mechanism requiring lubrication. All other moving
parts are lubrication-free components. Fabricon's mainframe and drive systems
have been designed for easy part replacement and repair, utilizing, in all
possible circumstance, stock and locally available components. Our manual
clearly explains the process of day-to-day care.
All Fabricon carousels are built to current A.S.T.M and DIN 412 standards
for safety and reliability. Our electrical console and system is built to the
national electric codes as determined by A.S.T.M. standards.
